atlantisite.com (the “Site”) is operated by Pykez UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Danziger Str. 4a, 36251 Bad Hersfeld, Germany (“we”, “us”). The Site is a free, independent research and educational project about the Atlantis legend and related historical, geological, and cultural topics.

2. Informational purpose & no warranty

All content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute professional, scientific, legal, or other advice. While we research carefully and label every substantive claim by its evidentiary status, parts of the content were produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence, and we make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content. Any reliance you place on it is strictly at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Site, save for liability that cannot be excluded under German law (e.g. for intent or gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health).

3. Evidence labels

Content is tagged “Proven”, “Speculative”, “Unproven Theory”, or “Refuted”. These labels describe the evidentiary status of a statement, not our editorial opinion. A statement that someone claimed something is not an assertion that the claim is true. Clearly-labelled unproven or refuted material is presented to examine and debunk it, never as fact.

The Site’s original text, design, and diagrams are protected by copyright and owned by us or our licensors. You may view and share the Site and make private, non-commercial copies. Any other use — including reproduction, redistribution, or commercial exploitation — requires our prior written consent. Third-party material (e.g. public-domain NASA imagery, or quoted texts) remains subject to its own rights and is credited where used.

5. Third-party links & trademarks

The Site links to external websites for reference. We do not control and are not responsible for their content. Third-party names and trademarks are used for descriptive and journalistic purposes only and imply no affiliation or endorsement.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it other than through normal browsing, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

We may update the Site and these terms at any time. The version published here applies to your use of the Site.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.

9. Severability

If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is not affected.
